“Villa Romsli was built in the 70s by the Red Cross. In 1988, the building was given as a gift from the Red Cross to Romsås district. This was done by transferring the building for the symbolic price of one Norwegian krone, but implied that it would be continued for non-profit purposes.
The facility has been used for housing for persons with an intellectual disability and then as a volunteering center with a leisure club. Today, Villa Romsli is an art center with 12 studios.”
