“Villa Romsli was built in the 70s by the Red Cross. In 1988, the building was given as a gift from the Red Cross to RomsÃ¥s district. This was done by transferring the building for the symbolic price of one Norwegian krone, but implied that it would be continued for non-profit purposes.
The facility has been used for housing for persons with an intellectual disability and then as a volunteering center with a leisure club. Today, Villa Romsli is an art center with 12 studios.”
