“Norwegian Textile Artists (NTK) was established in 1977 and is a national organization for textile artists. NTK has around 200 members and is one of 20 organizations under the umbrella of the Association of Norwegian Visual Artists. The organization has a wide network of contacts and assists members with guidance and provide contacts in exhibition and decoration matters. In the autumn of 2006, the Norwegian Textile Artists own gallery opened in Kvadraturen in Oslo. SOFT Gallery shows exhibitions with both members and other Norwegian and foreign artists who work with textile expressions.”
