“The Norwegian Association for Arts and Crafts (Norske Kunsthåndverkere, NK) works to strengthen the work of craft artists and to make contemporary crafts visible nationally and internationally. NK was founded in 1975. The organization has around 900 members and is divided into seven regions. NK produces the annual exhibition, known as Årsutstillingen, in addition to other dissemination projects, publishes the journal Kunsthåndverk, administer art grants, and aim to influence art policies.”
