“LNM is a nationwide membership organization for professional artists who work with painting. The organization was established in 1968 to promote the interests of painters and is one of the founding organizations of The Association of Norwegian Visual Artists. LNM’s gallery is in Kongensgate 2, with an entrance from Bankplassen, in the center of Kvadraturen. Annually, 9 exhibitions are shown that reflect the breadth of Norwegian contemporary painting. In addition, the gallery has a sales department that promotes works independently of the current exhibitions.”
